BIOGRAPHY OF DIANE A. OUELLETTEDiane A. Ouellette is Financial Consultant for Gold Canyon Financial Planning, a general partnership specializing in providing comprehensive financial planning services to individual clients, partners, families and small businesses. She is a Registered Investment Adviser in both Massachusetts and Arizona. Diane’s professional background includes twenty-three years at Fortune 100 telecommunication companies, most recently as a senior manager in manufacturing strategy development. She earned a BA degree, cum laude, in Biology at Wheaton College in MA and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston. During her career, Diane held a variety of senior management positions with increasing responsibility in manufacturing, engineering and strategy development. In 1991, she was recognized for her leadership in business with a TWIN Award, “Tribute to Women in Industry”, and consistently received recognition awards during her corporate career as a top contributor. Diane has always been passionate about financial planning and investing, and enthusiastically accepted an early retirement from the corporate world in 2001 to pursue her career as an independent Financial Consultant. Diane lives with her life partner, Tracy, Managing Director at Gold Canyon Financial Planning, and an assortment of canine and feline critters. They began their financial planning business in Massachusetts in August of 2001, Doing Business As Herring Cove Financial Planning, moved to Arizona in November of 2004, and renamed their business to Gold Canyon Financial Planning.
BIOGRAPHY OF TRACY C. GALETracy C. Gale is the Managing Director for Gold Canyon Financial Planning, a general partnership specializing in providing comprehensive financial planning services to individual clients, partners, families and small businesses. Her primary functions include Development and Implementation of Business Processes, Business Development, Customer Relations Management, Compliance Practices and Procedures, and Management of day-to-day operations (computer and network security, billing, and accounting). Tracy’s professional background includes twenty-one years at Fortune 100 telecommunications companies, most recently as a senior project manager in the Switching and Access Systems international manufacturing organization at Lucent Technologies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources at Ottawa University in AZ, a Webmaster Certification at Fairleigh Dickinson University in NJ, and a Masters Certification in Project Management at Stevens Institute of Technology in NJ. During her career, Tracy held a variety of management positions with increasing responsibility in Customer Service Call Centers, Business Sales Organizations, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Manufacturing support Organizations. Additionally, Tracy served in the United States Army Reserves in the Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) from 1982 to 1988. During that time she was a Legal Clerk and then a Court Reporter where she performed legal assistance necessary to support the U.S. Reserve Judicial System and instructed Legal Clerk Courses at the 6th U.S. Army Reserve Training center in Northern California. Throughout Tracy’s career she has received special awards for customer service, sales excellence, and project management leadership. Tracy is also the recipient of the Army Achievement Medal for Outstanding Service. Tracy took an early retirement from the corporate world to start and operate Gold Canyon Financial Planning (formerly Herring Cove Financial Planning) with her life partner, Diane. Both Diane and Tracy are very active in their communities and enjoy competitive table tennis, pickleball, camping, boating and other outdoor activities. Tracy is a Certified Spinning® Instructor, and enjoys playing her classical guitar while Diane enjoys cooking and entertaining.
